WORLDCHEFS CONGRESS & EXPO 2026 – A chance to Showcase Wales!

A message from Arwyn Watkins OBE, President of The Culinary Association of Wales …

As you may know The Culinary Association of Wales are working very hard on trying to secure the support of Country Presidents of WorldChefs in our bid to host WorldChefs Congress and Expo 2026.

We are one of the smallest Country members in WorldChefs and it will be such a boost for our future generations to secure this prestigious event in our country.

We do not have a great deal of time in getting our message across and the voting will take place later this month so by the end of 2022 we will all know which country will be hosting WorldChefs Congress 2026 and we sincerely hope that we secure the majority of support on this occasion.

Over the coming days and weeks, we will be communicating with all Country Presidents, we did receive significant support from Presidents that attended Expogast 2022 including Anton Mosimann and I sincerely hope that we can secure your support when you have the opportunity to vote.

Over the course of 94 Years of History The first Worldchefs Congress was attended by 65 delegates from 17 countries. It was there that August Escoffier was named honorary President. A hallmark tradition since its inception in 1928, However in all of that time we have never had the opportunity to welcome WorldChefs Congress and Expo to the Wales, which celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2023.

Today, Worldchefs Congress & Expo brings together a global body of hospitality professionals, representing 110 national chef associations from around the world.

Congress History Worldchefs Congress & Expo brings together chef delegates and professionals from across the five continents to network and expand their professional bonds. The unique program delivers presentations and workshops from leading experts in the industry, impactful educational programs including the Worldchefs Educators’ Forum, specialized events designed to uplift the next generation of chefs such as the Bill Gallagher Young Chefs Forum, the Global Chefs Challenge culinary competition, an international trade exhibition, and diverse activities to enhance both your personal and professional network.
